Official answer

"Stock in Work" reflects the number of units from the total stock that are allocated and temporarily used for production processes, assembly, or other activities.

  • Current Stock: represents all existing units in management, available for sale or other uses.
  • Stock in Work: indicates exactly how many units from the current stock are momentarily used in active processes.

For example:
If you have 10 product units in the warehouse and allocate 5 for production:

  • Current Stock: remains 10 units (total available).
  • Stock in Work: becomes 5 units (temporarily used in the process).

Rules for processing Stock in Work

The moment when units disappear from "Stock in Work" and the impact on current stock depends on the product type:

1. Super Product with the "Allocate Product Stock" option enabled: Upon completion of all production stages.

*When this option is checked, upon production completion:

  • The finished product is automatically added to stock according to the resulting quantity.
  • Components from the recipe are deducted from the current stock and the stock in work.

2. Super Product without a configured product for stock allocation: After issuing an Invoice or a Delivery Note.

3. Product with associated equipment: Upon generating a Bon de Consum (Consumption Note), either manually or automatically, at the end of the process.

4. Product without associated equipment: Upon issuing an Invoice, a Delivery Note, or a manually generated Bon de Consum (Consumption Note).
