When you configure a superproduct, the “Allocate Stock” column allows you to select a finished product that will be created following the production process. After completing a production order based on a superproduct, the system automatically decreases the stocks of the components (materials, parts, services, etc.) associated with the superproduct and loads the finished product selected in the “Allocate Stock” column.

To work correctly with superproducts in iflows, there are two main variants, depending on how you operate:

Method 1: Customized products, created directly to order for a client

  • Suitable for customized products, where the composition may vary depending on the order.
  • The superproduct is added directly to the quote/order, and its components are automatically displayed and can be modified as needed.

Method 2: Products manufactured and stored in advance

  • Used when you produce a standardized product that you keep in stock to sell later.
  • Here, the superproduct is used to load the stock with the finished product.

Method 1: For customized products (created to order for a client)

  1. Entering components:
    • Enter simple products (components) into the system. For example:
      • a (a material or a part).
      • b (another element).
      • c (another material).

  1. Creating the superproduct:
    • Create a superproduct, named, for example, SYSTEM X.
    • In its configuration:
      • Associate components a, b, c.
      • Set the quantities and dimensions for each component.

  1. Adding to quote/order:
    • When you add the superproduct to the quote, the platform will automatically populate the list of its components (a, b, c).
    • At this point, you can:

      • Add or remove components.
    • The superproduct will be customized according to the client's requirements.

This method is intended for standardized products, manufactured in advance and sold later from stock.

2. Creating the finished product:

  • Create a simple product, called, for example, SYSTEM X, which represents the finished product.
  • Under supplier enter your own company.

3. Creating the superproduct (recipe):

  • Create a superproduct named RECIPE SYSTEM X, which will be used for internal production.
  • In the superproduct configuration:
    • Add components a, b, c.
    • In the “Allocate Product Stock” column, select the finished product SYSTEM X.
    • Under supplier enter your own company.

4. Configuring the client for internal production:

  • It is necessary to create a client in the system that represents your own company to manage internal orders. This will be used exclusively for production.
    • Go to the Clients section in iflows and add a new client.
    • Fill in with your own company details.
    • This client symbolizes the internal order and helps to clearly separate internal production from client orders.

5. Production workflow:

Step 1: Launching the internal order

  • Launch the production order for RECIPE SYSTEM X, selecting the previously created company (representing your own company) as the client.
  • This order is internal, aiming to produce the finished product and register it in stock.

Step 2: Finishing production

  • Upon finishing production:
    • Stocks of components a, b, c are automatically decreased.
    • The finished product SYSTEM X is loaded into stock, becoming available for sale.

6. Selling the finished product:

  • After loading the finished product into stock:
    • A new order is created for the final (external) client, using the simple product SYSTEM X.
    • This is sold from stock, without displaying its composition, as it is considered a standardized finished product.

Conclusion: This method is suitable for products manufactured in advance and sold from stock.

  • How to proceed:
    • If you work with customized products, use the superproduct directly in the quote/order (method 1).
    • If you work with standard products in stock, follow method 2 to create the complete workflow (production → stock → order).
